The short version: played offline, Yatzy Pop! keeps everything on your phone. Played online, it stores the minimum needed to run your games — a name you typed, an avatar you picked, and your dice. The app has no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and nothing is ever sold or shared. This website uses Google Analytics to count visits — the app never does. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
Solo and pass & play games work entirely on your device. Your player name and avatar, scores and statistics, and settings (language, dice style, sound) are stored locally and never leave your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Online play needs an account so your friends and games can find you. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an anonymous identifier from them — we do not request or store your email address, real name, or contacts. Our server stores:
Like almost every service on the internet, our server may briefly record technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep things running and abuse-free. They are not used for anything else.
The app contains no analytics at all. This website, however, uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and collects usage statistics — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — which Google processes on our behalf. We use these statistics only to understand how people find and use the site, and for nothing else. You can block them with any content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on; the site and the game work exactly the same either way. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this data.
Game data is stored on our server in Germany (EU), and all traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (HTTPS/WSS).
In the app, go to Online and choose delete account. This takes effect immediately: your sign-in link, sessions, name, avatar, friend code, friendships, and pending invites are erased. Finished games keep an anonymized “Deleted player” entry so your former opponents’ results stay intact — nothing in it can be traced back to you.
Yatzy Pop! is a dice game suitable for all ages. It shows no ads, has no chat, and collects no personal data beyond what is described above.
You can change your name and avatar in the app at any time, and delete everything as described above. If you have any question about your data — including a request to access or erase it — email us and we'll sort it out.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
